Good Evening Everyone,

Today’s image comes from the University of Richmond Cathedral. This probably one of the most beautiful venues I’ve ever visited in Richmond or anywhere else. The cathedral ceilings seem to go on forever and it makes for an excellent place for your special day. This photo was actually somewhat difficult to put together as the organist was practicing and it was very tough to communicate with the bride over the organ. After a few shots, we were able to get it and man did it turn out great! I love the leading lines in this photo and our bride looks amazing. 1/30th F3.5 ISO 400.

Have a great day,

Good Evening Everyone,

It is hard to believe we are on Day 3 of this blog already. Some interesting news for today, we just purchased an additional domain name for our website: www.richmondweddingphoto.com

Today’s photo was taken in New Kent, Virginia during a bridal portrait session prior to the couple’s wedding date. Marshie & I always recommend bridal shoots as they give everyone a stress free opportunity to get those formal shots to hang on the wall. We have found that it is great to schedule a bridal shoot for the day you do your makeup testing, because you get to dress and look exactly as you will on your wedding day.

This shot was taken on our 40D with a Tokina 11-16 lens, the wide angle lens creates that epic look and feel we all love in our images. F5.6, 1/125th

Hope you have a great day,
Brandon Boswell
